THE SPACE
Our Beachy Boho Cottage is a favorite property by many guests for its location, extra touches, and for being one of the few standing 1950's San Diego Beach Cottages specific to Mission Beach. And now with A/C just added (not common for area) - It's for sure arguably the BEST "just off the water" property in area! Charmingly updated, owners have still preserved a lot of its original character like the vaulted exposed wood beams and paneling throughout.  Just 3 doors down from tranquil Mission Bay and across the street from the Pacific Ocean (or "South Mission" local surf spot) you'll truly have the best of both worlds just steps away all year round.

Our beachy cottage is ideally located bayside, in a family friendly community south of the historic Belmont Park Roller Coaster/Amusement park in South Mission Beach. This gem 2 bedroom, 1 bath beach cottage is perfect for any family, group of friends, or couple looking to unwind. Recently updated with all new luxurious linens, new bedroom carpet, new couch, plus a fully stocked kitchen that even includes an Instant Pot & an Alexa with concierge service to make your stay even more effortless.  With its large spa like shower, you will feel nothing but relaxed after returning from a long day at the beach or sightseeing. And nothing better than a peaceful dinner in "Sunny San Diego" on your private outdoor living room patio among tropical landscape and the saltwater air of the pacific. The property has an outdoor living room with fire pit, dining table for 6, outdoor blankets, and a brand new gas BBQ. Follow your evening up with a sunset (across the street), a bay cruise on the famous Bahia Belle with music, or just quite family time around the fire-pit.

There is a shared (no coin) onsite laundry with new washer/ dryer - Due to COVID we only allow one person at a time to use laundry room, and we ask they wipe down surfaces when leaving. Free for your use are 6 beach chairs, 6 beach towels, cooler, kayaks, boogie boards and sand toys. Please inquire about our preferred partners and/or concierge service (for hire) for any additional rental needs.

SUSTAINABILITY
•  This home is located in a high-density neighborhood and is ONLY suitable for quieter groups only. Our rental terms include a zero tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting.  Parties, excess noise or violating maximum occupancy will result in eviction. Deposit forfeitures and evictions are strictly enforced for rental term violations.

•  Other unit on property above garage w/ quiet long-term tenant & no shared walls

•  A/C is highly sought after in area / not common. This unit has a mini split Heating & AC system - not a Central HVAC system

•  Occupancy cannot exceed more than 4 adults, and up to 6 with children

•  Smoking & Pets are not permitted anywhere on the property indoor or outdoor

• Laundry Room is shared with long-term tenants

•  Government-issued ID & credit card used must be presented at check-in

•  Although it is not noticed much, Mission Beach may experience intermittent airplane noise. The San Diego International Airport is centrally located in San Diego, it is common for many SD neighborhoods (like Mission Beach) to be below one of the flight paths. Flights are not permitted between the hours of 11pm - 6am

• No Cable TV or Phone. Does have Smart TV w/ Roku for streaming of your favorite movies, channels and music.

TheBeachRenter® is known for our extra clean rentals. We are being extremely intentional with our cleanings. We have eliminated all natural cleaners and implemented extra cleaning precautions  per CDC guidelines that include Lysol laundry additive or bleach to all bedding, and using hospital grade disinfectant cleaner. That being said, this is still a Rent at Your Own Risk property. No matter the season antiviral wipes and sprays have and will continue to be standard in all our rentals for your peace of mind.
